Virus Removal
If your computer is having problems with regular functioning, such as programs aren’t opening or there are pop-ups that shouldn’t be there, you may have a virus. We use multiple programs that help us identify and remove viruses quickly and cleanly. Our software is always up to date. Please note that if your computer is infected so badly that we cannot run any basic programs we might have to reinstall your operating system.

Speed-ups
Slow computers can be caused by multiple things. Viruses can slow down computers and having too many programs running in the background can slow down your computer too. Typically you get a virus when you go to a certain website, and since the virus is actually a program just like any other it can take up your computer’s memory. Another problem that people often have is when they install programs that they no longer use. These programs can take up a lot of space on your computer and what we can do is identify them and remove them from your computer.

Hardware Installation + Components
There’s a wide array of problems that can occur with hardware, such as Hard Drive Failure (this is where all your files and programs are stored), Video Card Failure (video cards process your graphics for your screen), Motherboard Failure (motherboards allow all the parts of the computer to communicate for one purpose), and countless other problems. We can test all your hardware using another computer in order to isolate any hardware issue you might be having, after which we will call you with the cost of repair. Printers
Printers can be a source of frustration for any computer user, and often the solution is simple. We troubleshoot software and connection issues and we can get your printer working in no time in most cases. Make sure you have adequate ink and cables for your printer before we get to your place or we might have to come back. We also do first-time printer setup for both wired and wireless printers.

Networking
We can help you set up a wireless hotspot throughout your home, as long as you have internet service provided by a company. This will let you connect to the internet without cables. We have all the necessary equipment, simply indicate to us that this is what you need and we can get those lengthy ethernet cables gone.

Mobile – Call for a quote
We can help you with your smartphone, including teach you how to use it. One thing that people don’t know about smartphones is that most can broadcast a wifi signal just like your wireless internet at home or in your favorite coffee shop. These signals use your phone’s data plan so you should be careful with your usage unless you have unlimited data. Other functions we can do with smartphones include making your battery last longer, setting up your accounts, email, and much more.

Travel
While we do not charge for an appraisal, there is a 25 dollar fee for each time we travel to examine or repair a computer. This can be avoided, just drop your computer off with us and we will give you a free appraisal.
